Javagal is located just 12 Kms from
Halebeedu has one of the fine temple of Hoysala. Sri Lakshminarasimha temple built during 13th
Century (1205). Temple is built on Star shape platform as usual like in other Hoysala
temples. This is also one of the
trikutachala temple has Lakshminarasimha, Venugopala and Sridhar gods in
garbhagudi.
Main attraction of this temple is its
outer wall. It contains carvings of Elephant’s, Flower and various ancient stories.
On middle row of outer walls contains beautiful carved 150 god’s statue. Temple’s shikara also well carved with
various stories and structures.
In Navarnaga we can see well carved
Dwarabhanda (Door entrance) and in Pathalanakana 35 ft Deepasthamba is there.
Here we can also see Chandranatha basadi.
