Dambala - Beauty of Kalayana Chalukya --- Just around 15 KMs from Lakkundi and around 18 KMs from Gadag you can see this Doddabasappa temple. The temple was build during 12th Century during Kalyana chalukya period. The main attraction of this temple is its Vimana. Vimana built in star shape and looks like Circular appearance. The entire vimana was fully carved and you can see the beauty of experiment of Kalayana Chalukya. In temple pillers are well carved and Big nandi is there just front of temple. The temple is located in Mundaragi talluk of Gadag dist.
